Xbitto Docs
Xbitto works with AI agents. Give your AI app an API key and the Xbitto MCP server, and ask it in plain words to create paywall links, add hundreds of items to a pool, or upload a gallery, a video or a whole series of episodes.
The MCP server runs on your own computer. Files go straight from your computer to your own Bunny account, using upload addresses Xbitto signs; they never pass through Xbitto.
Create an API Key
- Sign in to the dashboard at app.xbitto.com and open AI Agents.
- Give the key a name, for example "Claude on my laptop", and select Create Key.
- Copy the key right away. It is shown once.
An account can have up to 10 keys. Remove a key on the same page at any time; anything using it stops working at once.
Add Xbitto to Your AI App
You need Node.js 20 or newer. The AI Agents page shows these steps with your new key filled in. Below, replace xb_your_key with your key.
Claude Desktop and Cursor
In Claude Desktop, open Settings → Developer → Edit Config. In Cursor, edit ~/.cursor/mcp.json. If the file already has "mcpServers", put the xbitto entry inside it, then restart the app.
{
"mcpServers": {
"xbitto": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "github:blackcheet/xbitto-mcp"],
"env": { "XBITTO_API_KEY": "xb_your_key" }
}
}
}
Claude Code
claude mcp add xbitto -e XBITTO_API_KEY=xb_your_key -- npx -y github:blackcheet/xbitto-mcp
ChatGPT Desktop
ChatGPT Desktop uses the Codex settings. Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml (on Windows, %USERPROFILE%\.codex\config.toml) and restart ChatGPT.
[mcp_servers.xbitto]
command = "npx"
args = ["-y", "github:blackcheet/xbitto-mcp"]
startup_timeout_sec = 120
[mcp_servers.xbitto.env]
XBITTO_API_KEY = "xb_your_key"
Grok Build
Add this to ~/.grok/config.toml, then check it with grok mcp doctor xbitto.
[mcp_servers.xbitto]
command = "npx"
args = ["-y", "github:blackcheet/xbitto-mcp"]
env = { XBITTO_API_KEY = "xb_your_key" }
startup_timeout_sec = 120
The first start downloads the server from GitHub, so it can take a little longer. On Windows, if an app can't start npx, use "command": "cmd" with "args": ["/c", "npx", "-y", "github:blackcheet/xbitto-mcp"].
What Your AI Can Do
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
whoami |
The account the key belongs to, and what it can create right now: links left today, wallets, Bunny, credits, the Sales Fee |
list_wallets |
Your payout wallets; paywalls use their ids |
list_links, get_link |
Your links and their paywall settings |
create_link |
A short link to a URL; its destination can't be changed later |
set_paywall |
Sell a link: price, title, description, cover, one access code or a pool of items |
add_pool_items |
Add license keys, logins or invite links to a pool, from a list or a .txt or .csv file |
get_pool_stats |
How many pool items are left and used |
create_gallery |
Sell 1–20 pictures from a folder |
create_video |
Sell a video, with an optional preview clip |
create_series |
Sell up to 100 episodes for one price, the first few free |
add_episodes |
Add episodes to the end of a series |
get_upload_job |
Follow an upload running in the background |
list_vault, get_vault_item |
Your Vault items and whether they are ready |
list_orders, get_order |
Your orders |
confirm_payment, reject_payment |
Decide a payment on hold, only when you say so |
Example requests:
- "Create a paywall link to https://example.com/course for 9 USDT and add the keys in keys.txt to its pool."
- "Upload the episodes in the Night Train folder as a series called Night Train, 3 USDT, first 2 free."
Uploads run in the background: the agent starts one and checks its progress. If the MCP server stops, its uploads stop too; what already arrived stays.
Limits
- Links: the destination is a public http or https address up to 2,048 characters, not an IP address, a local host or an Xbitto short link. It can't be changed later, and every link counts toward the day's allowance even after it's deleted.
- Pool: up to 1,000 unused items; each item up to 200 characters. The agent sends 100 items per request and skips blank lines and repeats.
- Gallery: 1–20 pictures, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF, each up to 20 MB.
- Series: up to 100 episodes. At most half can be free. It takes orders once at least the free episodes plus one, and at least 2, are ready.
- Videos take orders once Bunny has finished encoding them.
- Prices are in USDT or USDC, for example 5 or 4.99.
What a Key Can't Do
A key can't add or change payout wallets, connect Bunny, change your password, email or other account settings, buy credits, pay promoters, run paid wallet checks, export or delete your account, or create other keys. Do those in the dashboard.
A key also can't read what consumers pay for: it can add items to a pool but not list the unused ones, and it can manage Vault items but not view them or see a link's access code.
Where It Works
Xbitto isn't available in some regions, from the dashboard or from the MCP server. If the agent says "Xbitto isn't available from the place this computer connects from", that's why. See the Terms.
Security
- Keep your key secret: anyone who has it can create and change your links and Vault items.
- Xbitto stores only a fingerprint of each key, never the key itself.
- If a key may have leaked, remove it on the AI Agents page and create a new one.
