How to Sell Digital Products Online and Get Paid in Stablecoins

A practical guide to selling files, videos, courses and private links online, from picking what to sell to getting paid in USDT or USDC.

Selling a digital product means selling something that can be delivered over the internet: a file, a video, a set of pictures, a course, an invite, access to a private page. There is no stock to keep and no shipping, so the work is in three places: making something worth buying, getting it in front of the right people, and taking the payment.

What counts as a digital product

Almost anything people pay to see, use or download:

  • Files: e-books, templates, presets, spreadsheets, software, sample packs.
  • Video: tutorials, courses, recorded workshops, exclusive clips.
  • Pictures: photo sets, art, wallpapers, reference packs.
  • Access: an invite to a private group, a members-only page, a download folder, a password.

The rule that matters most: sell only what you made or have the right to sell. Reselling other people's work is the fastest way to lose an audience and an account.

Step 1: Decide how the consumer receives it

Before choosing a platform, decide what the consumer gets the moment they pay:

  1. A link to where the product already lives, such as a cloud folder or a members page. Simple, and works for anything. The consumer sees the address, so protect the destination itself (a password, an expiring share link) if sharing it would hurt.
  2. A viewing page that shows the video or pictures without handing over the files. Better for content that would lose its value if forwarded.
  3. A code, such as a licence key or a password, delivered alongside a link.

Step 2: Set a price people can decide on quickly

Digital products sell on impulse more than on comparison. A clear, single price works better than a menu. Small prices are fine, but check how a platform's fees behave at your price: a flat fee per sale weighs more on a cheap product than on an expensive one. See our pricing for how Xbitto charges.

Step 3: Choose how you get paid

Card payment processors are the default in many countries, but they are not available everywhere, they can hold funds, and they can close accounts for categories they consider risky. Many creators, especially outside the United States and Europe, prefer stablecoins: digital dollars such as USDT and USDC that move on public blockchains.

With stablecoins:

  • the consumer pays from a wallet or an exchange account they already have;
  • the payment arrives in minutes, wherever both of you are;
  • there are no chargebacks: a payment, once confirmed, is final.

That last point cuts both ways. Consumers cannot reverse a payment, so they need a reason to trust you: clear descriptions, a preview and a visible way to report a problem.

A paid link, sometimes called a paywall link, is the simplest checkout there is. You share one short link; the page behind it shows what is for sale, the price and how to pay, and unlocks the product once the payment arrives.

With Xbitto:

  1. Create a link to your product, or upload a video or photo set to your Vault, which stores it in your own Bunny account.
  2. Set the price and choose the wallets you receive on: USDC on Solana, USDT on TRON, or both.
  3. Share the link. Consumers pay you directly, and the content unlocks about a minute later.

Xbitto never holds the money. It goes from the consumer's wallet to yours in one transfer.

Step 5: Get it in front of consumers

Where your audience already is matters more than any platform feature:

  • Telegram, Discord, X: post the link with a short description and a preview.
  • A bio page: one link that leads to your products.
  • Partners: let other people promote your products for a commission with an affiliate program.

Track what works. Click statistics tell you which posts bring visitors; sales tell you which of those visitors buy.

Common mistakes

  • No preview. People rarely pay for something they cannot picture. Show a cover, a blurred image or a short clip.
  • A vague description. Say exactly what is included: how many images, how long the video is, what format the file is in.
  • Ignoring consumers who paid from an exchange. Exchanges sometimes deduct a fee from the amount they send. Choose a checkout that copes with a small shortfall.

Summary

Make something worth paying for, decide how it is delivered, price it simply, and take payment in a way that works for your consumers. A paid link with stablecoin payments covers the last two steps in a few minutes.
